Your guide to healthy hair
Hair grows naturally on its own. For many of us length retention is a struggle, but it doesn’t have to be. Here’s what you need to do for your hair to flourish and keep all the growth that your scalp is giving.
"WASH" DAY
The shampoo service is a must! Whether you're shampooing yourself or having a license stylist, the shampoo is the foundation for any hair service. Here’s why shampooing is a REQUIREMENT for your healthy hair care journey. The primary purpose of shampoo is to remove any build up that may be clogging the hair follicles. Hair is not able to move freely through the scalp when the follicles are clogged. In other words: a dirty, clogged scalp can stunt your growth journey. Shampoo and conditioning the hair on a weekly to bi-weekly basis consistently will improve the condition of your hair over time by increasing the moisture content. This will result in hair with increased softness, elasticity, curl definition and shine with less frizz and shedding during detangling.
CARE FOR YOUR SCALP
When it comes to hair growth the scalp is our source! Increase the blood flow to the scalp on wash day by using balls of your fingertips to gently massage the scalp in a “back and forth” motion instead of a circular motion (there’s less detangling this way). Start your mornings off or end your day with self-care by massaging Queen's Stimulating (scalp dandruff treatment) Drops, or our Luxurious Hair Growth into the scalp. Luxurious Oil Drops increase circulation on their own so combining them with a scalp massage will only elevate the experience even further. It is an excellent way to get your growth going.
SILK ME PLEASE
Before applying heat protect your hair love! How do you successfully silk press your hair and not cause damage? Heat protection. Gently mist our Queens Shine/Polish onto the hair before blow drying. The product forms a protective barrier to your hair shafts. Heat protectants also add moisture, restore natural luster and reduce damage to your hair. Queens Shine/Polish can also be applied to dry hair for a smooth finish!

KINK ME NOT
Naturally Curly hair is prone to tangling. Tangled hair can lead to breakage so it’s essential that you detangle gently and carefully. You NEVER, want to detangle dry hair. When the hair is dry it lacks elasticity and is more vulnerable to breakage. For this reason, we recommend detangling the hair on wash day with your conditioner. When detangling the hair always start at the ends and work your way up to the scalp. Use a wide tooth comb or your fingertips. When detangling kids’ hair be sure to hold the hair right above the loose area, you’re detangling to prevent them from feeling any pulling or tugging at the scalp.
GAME CHANGER
It is so simple! Invest in yourself! Trust the process! Enjoy thicker, longer and healthier hair! GROWTH IS ALWAYS THE VIBE!
DON'T PLAY WITH MY EDGES
The hairline is the most fragile part of the hair and once it’s damaged recovery can be a challenge. When your edges are in recovery it is really best to leave them alone. Avoid tension and heat. Apply the Luxurious Queen hair growth oil 3-4 times a week.
